1. What were your season stats this year?

2. What was the deciding factor on choosing Duke?
I wanted to play for a great basketball program and go as far away from Oregon as possible and I really got along well with Coach K.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at Duke?
I see me playing the 3 and playing a lot possibly some 4.
4. What do you like most about Coach K?
I love his coaching player relationships.
5. How did it feel to get a state title this year?
OH it felt great man, especially against a good friend and such a great super star Kevin Love.
6. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
Just working hard and making big shots.
7. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
Current Player i would have to say Mike Dunlevy, and past NBA would have to be Larry Bird.
8. How do you feel about future teammates Taylor King & Nolan Smith?
I played against both of them and its going to be a pleasure playing and hanging out with both of them.
9. What part of the All-Star games you played in this post season did you enjoy most? Hanging out with all the guys and all the off court stuff that we experienced.
10. How did it feel to get a chance to represent your country in Nike Hoop summit game? It was amazing wearing USA across my chest and to know that not everybody has that opportunity growing up.
Brian Oliver - William Penn (DE) Class 2009 Interview March 27, 2007
1. What were your season stats this year?
16.5 PPG, 7 RPG, 3 BPG, 2 APG, 2.5 SPG
2. How have you enjoyed playing in Delaware so far in your career?
There is a lot of hatin, but that makes me work harder, but overall, it hasn't been too bad.
3. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy everything about being on the court. There isn't just one thing that I like the most.
4. If you had to compare your game with a NBA star who would it be?
It depends on what type of game I've having. It could be Ben Wallace, or it could be Kevin Garnett.
5. What school's have shown the most interest so far in you?
Wisconsin, Maryland, Penn State, Baylor, Xavier, Rutgers, Iowa, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Connecticut, LSU, and Temple.
6. What are some of the deciding factors for you on picking a school?
Academics, great basketball program, the conference, and location.
7. What part of your game will you be working on the most this summer?
Working on my handle. That's key for me right now.
8. How many season have you played with the Playaz AAU team?
This is my second season.
9. What are some of the big events your AAU team will play in this summer?
All of the events are big, but the biggest are Spring Fling, Boo Williams, Charlie Weber, King James Event, Bob Gibbons, Summer Classic East and Las Vegas.
Nick Calathes – Lake Howell (FL) Interview March 13, 2007
1. What were your season stats this year?
28 points 7 rebounds 6 assists
2. What was the deciding factor on choosing Florida?
Coach Donovan and his staff also the style of play that they play. And it’s in Florida so my family can come.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at Florida?
I think I fit really well in the kind of players they have.
4. How excited are you to have the chance to continue playing ball in college with Chandler?
It’s great he is my best friend and we hope to help Florida when some more championships.
5. How did it feel to finally get a State Title?
It was the greatest feeling. I’m glad we got it done our last year and ended it like this.
6. How do you feel about Coach Billy Donovan?
He is the best coach in the nation and he will teach me a lot of things and help me become the best player that I can be.
7. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
I say winning.
8. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
I would say mixture of Mike miller, Steve Nash and Jason Williams.
9. How hard are you going to be pushing Florida on Patrick Patterson at McDonald's All American game?
I’m going do as much as I can to get him to go to the University of Florida. With him we will be the #1 recruiting class and he is the missing part of the puzzle we need to win us a National Championship.
Chandler Parsons – Lake Howell (FL) Interview March 6, 2007
1.What were your season stats?
The season was good. We finished 31-3 and state champions. I averaged 23pts 11rebs and 5ast
2. What was the deciding factor on choosing Florida?
I chose Florida because the gators play my style of basketball running up and down in transition, great coaches, 2 hours from home, and it’s a great academic school.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at Florida?
I think I fit in perfect with Florida’s style. Coach Donovan sees me as a Mike Miller or Matt Bonner. Being 6'9 and versatile like those guys.
4. How do you feel about Coach Billy Donovan?
I think Coach Donovan is the best coach in America. He knows the game and makes his players better ball players and people.
5. How excited are you to have the chance to play ball in college with Nick?
I’m very excited to play with nick. We are best friends on and off the court and have great chemistry on the floor. I think we are very fun to watch and hope to bring Florida another national championship.
6. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
I love the competitiveness and all the fans getting loud.
7. How did it feel to finally get a State Title?
Getting a state title was huge. It’s the best feeling in the world when u put in hours of hard work and have it pay off.
8. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
I would compare myself to Antwan Jamison. He’s a versatile big man who can step out and shoot from deep, create mismatches, get to the basket off the dribble, and a great teammate.
Joey Rodriguez – Lake Howell (FL) Interview March 5, 2007
1.What were your season stats?
I ended the season averaging 13 pts 10.2 assists and 3 steals.
2. What was the deciding factor on choosing VCU?
The main reason I chose VCU was because how comfortable I felt with the staff. I also thought it was a great opportunity to become elite mid major/high major basketball team.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at VCU?
My game is going to fit perfect there. Coach Grant wants to base his team on speed, toughness and skill. I'll bring all those intangibles and more.
4. How do you feel about Coach Anthony Grant?
Coach Grant is an awesome coach. More importantly he's someone I can trust. I hope we can get it done at VCU.
5. How did it feel to finally get a State Title?
It was the best feeling in the world. Coming up short 3 years in a row was crazy. Winning it this year and how we won it was amazing. Going out as an MVP in the state tournament was awesome as well. It was the first time 3 players split the media votes for MVP.
6. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
The best part of being on the court is being a leader and making people around me better. I enjoy that more then anything. It's my job.
7. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
I would say someone like John Stockton, pass first, great leader, don’t leave me open though.

2. What was the deciding factor on choosing Oregon?
I would say having the chance to play collegiate level ball with my best friend, in one of the top programs in the country.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at Oregon?
I think I fit in very well, I think I add the deciding piece to the puzzle for a great team and I plan on contributing
right away.
4. How excited are you to have the chance to play college ball with Kamyron Brown?
It’s a dream come true.
5. How do you feel about Coach Erine Kent?
He's a great coach. He reminds me a lot of Kamyrons dad, who coached me most of my life, which may be why I felt a direct connection right when I met him.
6. What part of being on the court do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy knowing that people fear me on the court.
7. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
I would say future NBA player Kevin Durant.

2. What was the deciding factor on OK?
I chose OU because of the relationship I had with Coach Capel and also it's close to home and I get to play with my brother again.
3. How do you see your game fitting in at OK?
I think I can help out down low and add a little more depth to the front court.
4. How do you feel about getting to play with your brother at OK?
I can't wait to play with him again I haven't played with him since my sophomore year so I'm really looking forward to it.
5. What do you like most about Coach Jeff Capel?
I love the passion that he has for the game and how passionate he is when he coaches and also how much love he has for his players.
6. What part of being out on the court do you enjoy most?
Definitely defense and trying to shut down whomever I'm guarding.
7. If you had to compare your game with a NBA player who would it be?
I would say Amare Stoudemire because every time I go to the hole I try to attack it as hard as possible.

Right now I am receiving interest from Stanford, Wake Forest, Penn State, Texas, Illinois, Rutgers, Boston College, Marquett, Xavier, and St. Joes and more...
3.What are some of the deciding factors for you on picking a school?
In picking a school I am looking for a great academic school as well as a good conference. I really like the Pac 10 and ACC, as well as the Big 10
4.Do you feel any pressure being the best player in DE?
There is not really alot of pressure, just more hate. You don't get a lot of love that you deserve because everyone else feels that they should be ranked nationally or in my position which is fine. But I love being that person with a target on my back.
5.What part of being out on the court do you enjoy the most?
I really enjoy being that "guy" on my team where I am relied on to take and make the big shots and make everyone else on my team better. I also love the crowds I feed off of everyone's energy.
6.If you had to compare your game to a Nba star who would it be?
I get asked this question a lot and it changes everytime, because sometimes I go with Paul Pierce and other times I go with Carmelo Anthony. I draw both comparisons, so I guess it just depends on the night and the matchup.

How is the season going so far for you?
The season is going great so far we have only lost 3 games. We are trying to get better with each game and not lose anymore games.
What are your top schools on your list so far?
Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan.
Do you think playing at Rucker Park has helped develop your skills?
Yes b/c I have got to play with older guys that have been able to teach me and add
to my skills.
Do you feel any pressure being labeled the next great guard out of NYC?
No I don’t feel any pressure to live up to the hype. I just work hard with my team to makes us better all around.
